Job description
Orbital Vision is an award-winning creative agency specialising in digital design and 3D rendering for the interiors industry. We’re a creative team with over two decades of experience in the industry. When it comes to interior CGI and visually realistic room sets, we are in our element. With intricate attention to detail, photo-realistic textures and lighting, we create powerful interior scenes. Our clients are widely known fabric manufacturers and expect the highest standard of work. We’re highly motivated and highly skilled. We have created a culture where talents can grow.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual who has a passion for textiles and photography. As this is a junior role, you will be trained up to create CGI fabrics to a high level. You will be given targets to achieve over a 6-month period, with salary rewards as you complete levels. The role will suit someone who has just left an education setting and/or willing to broaden their skill set as there is a lot of opportunities to grow and progress within the business.
Most days will be filled with a few different elements of photography including photographing client fabrics for building and lifestyle shots. Learning to use our software to create seamless finishes to our fabrics and then using 3ds max and v-ray to create the fabrics in 3D. There may also be some elements of video/video editing occasionally involved in this job role.
There is a lot to learn within this role and can involve some challenges, so time management, critical thinking and organisation is imperative.
About you
The ideal candidate will be a determined character and must have experience and an interest in photography as this will be one of the main roles in this job. You will be a creative thinker and have strong attention to detail to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to all our clients, both locally and globally.
You will be comfortable working within a team, with the ability to communicate well, with a keen interest in learning technical skills. To be successful within the role, we’re looking for someone who has strong time management skills and motivated to work well under pressure.
