About Regal: We are a construction company based in West London. We have been growing steadily, and reached the point now where we need a full time construction estimator to help us get more work and grow as a business.
The Role: We are looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to carry out competitive tendering to secure new contracts in various sectors with typical project values varying from, but not limited to, £50K - £1 Million. This role is office based in West London and will require site visits around the London area that's why the candidate must have a full UK license.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities: -
- The successful Management of tender documentation from initial enquiry stage to settlement
- To read and interpret tender documentation, specifications and drawings
- To compile both subcontract and material enquiries
- To abstract quantities for enquiries and pricing
- The evaluation of Sub-contractors and material quotations
- To highlight potential contractual implications
- The training & supervision of junior members of staff
- To liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers and all Company departments
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of tendering procedures/contract conditions
- Knowledge of construction industry
- Knowledge of pricing from “first principles”
- Adaptability to respond quickly to changes in legislation
- To provide accurate and timely information
- Make decisions whilst working under pressure
- Computer literate
- Experience of Conquest estimating software is advantageous but not essential
- Full driving license

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- surveying: 2 years (preferred)
- Quantity Surveying Occupations: 1 year (preferred)

- Driving Licence (required)
