As a junior member of our enterprise architecture team, you’ll play an important role in making Tech a differentiator. We’re looking for an enterprise architect to:
- take a modern agile approach to Enterprise Architecture – with a particular emphasis on cloud native and the full technology lifecycle.
- work with stakeholders – to syndicate and define digital architecture roadmaps and digital principles
- create templates and processes – for the organization to use in their architecture management
- actively contribute – towards delivering a world-class architecture function
Your team
You’ll be working in the Enterprise Architecture team which is part of the Group Chief Technology Office(GCTO) and be based in London or Zürich (other UBS locations will also be considered). We are responsible for driving the translation of Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) strategy, standards and principles into architecture for UBS globally. We work closely with a federated organization of CTOs and IT architects aligned with every area of UBS Technology. In addition, the team directly supports the CTO for Operations to define and drive the corresponding domain architecture and technology agenda.
Your expertise
- University degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related field of study
- experience in helping to create enterprise or solution architectures for major applications or change programs
- a passion to continuously challenge to help improve existing methods
- excellent communication and collaboration skills. Able to partner with technical experts as well as senior business stakeholders and present complex concepts in a simple way
- some experience of cloud native technologies and agile development would be an advantage
- some knowledge of and track record in enterprise architecture is advantageous but not critical
- experience of financial services advantageous but not critical
- knowledge of TOGAF and IT development or management methodologies such as SAFe or ITIL are advantageous but not critical.
