Job description
We are looking for a fun and friendly person to join our ever growing team at gibsonhaus. This is a varied role involving you working across a fast-paced team working on administrative tasks ranging from diary management, answering queries, maintaining databases, running reports, creating presentations, and supporting events. You will provide essential PA support to the Head of the team and will also be comfortable supporting several other managers on key tasks.
The position available is for 5 days per week. This varied role will involve assisting our Marketing Manager through all marketing channels and social media platforms, with some admin responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
~ Creating unique and relevant product descriptions for the website
~ Optimising SEO for our Brands & Departments
~ Assisting creating and maintaining content and customer engagement on all social platforms
~ Composing engaging blog content for all clients
~ Website Auditing
- Carrying out general administrative tasks. Answering emails and calls to assist and further our customer relations. Providing general office support to the two directors and other staff
~ Assist with organising and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions
- Complete reports offering context and insight wherever possible.
- Gather data, generate reports to carry out performance analysis. Check data to ensure accuracy at every stage.
Skills & Experience Requirements
~ Writing experience required
~ Ability to produce and create new compelling blog content
~ Confident knowledge of Social Media platforms
~ Knowledge of SEO is preferred but not vital
~ Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, etc)
Your experience, skills, and qualifications
You’ll need to be someone who can deliver, who is curious and ready to learn as well as being enthusiastic in supporting the senior team with day-to-day tasks. You will preferably already have some marketing experience, but most importantly you have a real passion for marketing and the agency world.
~ The ideal candidate will have a degree in Marketing, Media, or Business and at least 1-2 years experience in the industry
~ Enthusiasm towards the job
~ Good working knowledge of the Adobe Suite, CMS Platforms and email marketing platforms
Working hours
Working hours are generally 9am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. However, you may need to work some evenings or weekends when organising or attending events, or when working on a big marketing campaign.
There is no planned start date but ideally we would like to get someone in as soon as possible.
