The Role In A Nutshell
We are looking for a Junior Digital Designer to join our creative marketing team. You will primarily be responsible for creating new design assets for promotions and marketing campaigns to be used across the UK and other territory websites to support our dancewear and costume product offering. You will be responsible for ensuring that our creative assets reflect our brand values as well as aligning to our brand and design guidelines, ensuring consistency. It is crucial that we create customer-focused design assets that are both exciting and inspiring to dancers. We expect the Junior Digital Designer to continually seek new opportunities for creative output, testing different layouts of design in emails and pushing innovation, trend and originality.
What Our Team Needs and What You Will Be Doing
- Creating digital marketing assets to be used across all platforms: website, emails, organic and paid social media posts and print
- Experimenting with imagery, videos and animation in Adobe programmes
- Liasing with the Senior Marketing Executive to ensure tasks are completed to brief and to meet deadlines
- Ensuring all work is executed within timelines, filed correctly and delivered back to brief owners
- Managing our annual printed and digital catalogue pagination, improving the design and layout each year
- Working on print graphic design tasks such as product packaging, product tags and logo updates
- Listening to feedback to hone skills and improve design
- Support with image editing where necessary, resizing and updating assets
- Keeping Asana (our project management tool) tasks up to date so all relevant parties are aware of creative design process
You’ll definitely have:
- Experience in a digital design role, preferably in a retail environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to be able to work collaboratively across the team
- Creative flair and ideas
- Excellent artworking skills with a strong eye for typography, layout, iconography and colour theory
- Proficient in Adobe (Photoshop/After Effects/Illustrator/InDesign)
You’ll ideally have:
- Degree or qualification in graphic design or similar creative field
- Experience retouching
- Knowledge and experience of Sketch
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms like Klaviyo

Salary: £17,600k - £19,200k (£22k-£24k FTE)

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
