The principal role of the Junior Digital Designer is to support in the creation, development, and delivery of award winning digital creative solutions for our clients and prospects. You’ll be responsible for responding to creative briefs, creating experience design solutions, and maintaining the integrity of the work for our clients.
We are looking for a creative thinker with a passion for digital communications. You’ll need the ability to mix creative flair and technical know-how with commercial awareness, supporting the wider team with asset creation, design updates and microsite designs.

Your Key Responsibilities*
Deliver high quality work
Create designs and graphics for your assigned client work. Collaborate and contribute to the thinking, design process and the delivery of client communications. Combine creativity and quality execution to produce high quality experience designs that adhere to digital design and user experience best practice, that are informed by knowledge of our technology while working to ensure the integrity, accuracy and quality of work is always maintained.

Asset creation and design updates*
You will need to be able to take original design concepts and designs and roll these designs out across other pages template and channels, along with design amends and edits for current clients, taking onboard both internal and client feedback, and briefing in the development team to ensure a quality implementation of the designs. You will also be needed to select and create high quality assets for the websites and load these into the CMS ready for publication.

Manage project resources (time and budgets) to deliver jobs profitably, on time and to the highest quality. Be the champion of our internal work processes. Where required, make an active contribution to new business.
Work collaboratively
To work closely with the Digital Designers and Project Delivery, Strategy and Development teams to understand the creative strategy and delivery framework. Be proactive and helpful, ensuring the smooth running of all projects, exceeding client expectations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
Deliver high quality designs and supporting assets and graphics.
Achieve high levels of client satisfaction and win the trust and respect of your clients and colleagues.
Your reporting relationships
Reporting to: The Lead Digital Designer
Working closely with: The wider Creative Team, Head of Digital Delivery, Digital Project Managers and Application Development team
Your qualifications, experience & skills
The ideal candidate will have the following profile of skills and experience:
- Degree level qualification from a reputable University.
- Ideally a minimum of 12 months experience in digital communications and design.
- Strong knowledge of XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of digital channels, including micro-sites, email marketing and social media.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent eye for detail, ambitious for the quality of your work, and a constant search for excellence.
