We are looking for a Junior Digital Designer to play a crucial role alongside the Marketing Team in our Dunnington, York office. As Junior Digital Designer, you will be working on a range of household name retail brands spanning the length and breadth of the country – developing high-quality artwork and animations, seasonal campaigns, digital gamification projects and engaging web design. Working closely with the Promotions and Activation teams, alongside the wider Marketing team, you will produce high-quality artwork as part of our promotional cycle and use your natural organisational skills to ensure delivery on time and within budget. As part of the design team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our core range of promotional items – social media posts, animations and digital assets for online placement are produced using industry best practices and to a best-in-class level, ensuring that you continuously improve all your work, consistently. Your main responsibilities • Develop compelling and visually appealing digital assets including website banners, social media graphics, infographics, and gamification campaigns• Work closely with the marketing team to understand requirements, objectives, and target audience to ensure design solutions align with business goals• Brainstorm and conceptualise innovative design concepts that resonate with the brand and engage the target audience effectively• Take projects from concept to completion, adhering to design guidelines, and ensuring consistent branding across all materials• Creating designs that are responsive and user-friendly across various digital platforms and devices, maintaining a seamless user experience• Juggle multiple design requirements simultaneously, managing time effectively to meet deadlines and project milestones• Actively participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and enhance design iterations About you • Degree or equivalent qualification would be a preference. • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, working to deadlines• Excellent written and communication skills• Proficient in all Microsoft packages and Adobe Creative Cloud• A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to learn• Ability to cope well under pressure and meet deadlines across multiple pieces of work and projects at the same time• Extremely high attention to detailWhat next?If you are looking to launch, or grow, an exciting career in a company that values progression and development!
