Job title: People Development Officer
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Salary: £10.42 per hour
Working remotely with travel to our Witney office as required.

Purpose of the role:
The role of the Junior Developer is to assist with the delivery of Guideposts’ Enterprise System project and ensure a timely and smooth launch of Phases 1a and 1b. The system is a set of internal interconnected apps for mobile and desktop accessed by staff across the organisation
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Creation and management of the enterprise system UI component library
- Translation of system requirements into unit tests
- Creation of dummy data for testing
- Assistance on the development of apps making up the enterprise system, including interfaces, form logic, and automations
- Running unit tests
- Bug-fixing issues from unit tests or user acceptance tests
- Documentation of design or logic decisions make during development
- Manage the ticketing system for user-flagged bugs
We are looking for someone who has:
- Understanding of software architecture patterns and best practices
- UI/UX design experience
- Good attention to detail
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- The ability to give and take constructive criticism
- Existing knowledge or familiarity working with low-code tools such as Microsoft Power Apps, Bubble, OutSystems
- Existing experience of running unit tests
- Experience of managing databases and designing data models
- Experience of building AI models
