The Opportunity

The Opportunity
In this exciting opportunity you will be part of the Technology Deployment & Test team and accountable for reviewing, auditing and improving the end-to-end Restaurant Technology deployment pipeline (POS, Kiosk and Back Office systems). You will seek out and provide technical solutions to improve the overall deployment process. You will need to have a good level of curiosity, problem solving and ability to program (or learn to).

What will my accountabilities be?

  • Work as part of the Deployment & Test team to foster a high performing culture aligned with the company values
  • Work closely with our segment, global colleagues and suppliers regarding opportunities in improving our end-to-end deployment pipeline through technology, tools and processes.
  • Design, test and implement automated pre-deployment and post deployment checks. Using scripts and tools developed yourself or working with our suppliers.
  • Design, test, and implement automated deployment processes (config and core builds)
  • Troubleshoot and debug deployment issues and make improvements for future releases.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of deployments and make changes as required.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation on tools/processes adopted.
  • Attend relevant multi-functional team meetings and input as required
  • Ensure technical solutions delivered are secure, stable and are supported as required.
  • Work closely with asset & configuration team to ensure software deployment processes and version control are aligned to CMDB change control protocols
  • Accountable for feedbacking on deployment improvement initiatives to Market, Segment and Global colleagues, taking ownership for improving the quality and efficiency of deployments
  • Utilising your technical understanding of 3rd party suppliers and partners capabilities to bring ideas and improvements to new or existing deployment products
  • Drive a customer first approach across the execution of Deployments and support the wider Deployment & Testing team
