Job description

As a Junior Developer, you will be working in the software and web development team to build software components (whether web, mobile, or desktop applications) to help other team members and support them in their day-to-day routine. We’re currently evolving our brand and working on numerous different projects and so we need a digital presence that supports this. You’ll be responsible for updating existing content as well as building new pages and templates. Also, you will be working closely with all team members and franchise business owners in order to support them with technical systems, CRM, and workflow automation.

Description of Job Duties

  • Manage existing WordPress plugins
  • Create/install new WordPress plugins
  • General website maintenance on WIX
  • Monitoring and developing system automation on an ongoing basis, quickly identifying bugs or mechanical issues and driving a successful resolution.
  • Working with the Data team to analyse, cleanse, and update CRM data to ensure high-quality data standards.
  • Function as a Technical assistant to set up systems for established goals.
  • Create users, set permissions, and document process changes and new development.
  • Analyze and resolve system issues for our franchisees and internal team members in a timely and efficient manner
  • Triage user questions and issues, providing the first line of communication to address and resolve concerns.
  • Assist end-users with technical usage of the systems, integrations, or new options.
  • Manage APIs with external applications for CRM, Marketing Automation, webchat, reporting, etc
  • Assist with any ad-hoc duties as and when required
  • Assisting with further projects related to Cloud Development, API, and mobile applications

Requirements and personal skills

  • 5 GCSEs (especially English, Mathematics, and a science or a technology subject)
  • other relevant qualifications and experience
  • IT skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
  • Maintain a positive attitude focussed on customer satisfaction.
  • Interest and passion towards current front-end technologies, advancements in the development industry and current design/development trends
  • Passionate about developing engaging user experiences that enhances the overall design
  • Positive, demonstrable ‘can-do’ attitude
