C Space is a pioneering consumer collaboration consultancy with offices in Boston, New York, San Francisco, London and Shanghai. About the Role
Working as a part of our in-house Creative team, you will be expected to collaborate with consultants and other members of Creative to produce highly impactful print and digital outputs that are relevant to project objectives & client needs. You will work on a range of projects and have exposure to some of the world's leading brands.
We design outputs for some of the world's leading brands, bringing the customer's voice into the heart of their businesses by working closely with their insight and marketing teams at brands such as Google, Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan, Visa, YouTube and many others.
Our team are a hub for the business and clients to stay ahead of the curve, to really challenge and execute high quality creative work. We strive to be creative in our thinking and the ways we bring outputs to life for our clients, you'll be part of this fast-paced team. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of a collaborative team to learn and build their skills.
You will report into our Senior Experience Designer as well as having exposure to other senior members and directors across the business.
What You Will Be Doing in Your Role
- Working closely with the Head of Creative and Experience Designer you will consistently deliver a high standard of work as well as collaborate with other members of the team to maximise creative excellence.
- Effectively manage workloads within agreed timescales.
- Understand and work with brand guidelines as well as create new and original assets from scratch.
- Work proactively under own initiative and as part of the Creative Team.
- Client contact will be required, and you will be expected to participate in creative presentations.
- Simultaneously oversee multiple projects for different stakeholders.
- Ensure working files are ordered and neat, that folder structures are adhered to, and that work is saved to the server upon completion.
- Ensure that you reflect C Space's behaviours and culture, through both your client relationships and your work.
- Opportunity to support and develop in UX and Digital Design projects.
- Opportunity to support and develop in Film, photography and animation projects.
What Skills Will Help You Be Successful
- Agency or client experience is preferable but not essential.
- Ability to work accurately and provide consistent artwork quality.
- Ability to adhere to brand guidelines.
- Experience in management of artwork collateral.
- Accurate and consistent completion of timesheets.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – principally InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Are a champion for user-centred approach to delivering on project objectives.
- Familiar with Figma, Adobe XD and a variety of prototyping tools.
- Knowledge of After Effects is preferable, Premiere is also an advantage.
- HTML e-mails, banners and front-end web design experience is an advantage.
- Good typographic and compositional skills.
- Excellent infographic and icon design ability using Adobe Illustrator or similar.
- Evidence, in the form of a portfolio, of your ability to add value across the whole design process, from briefing through to delivery.
- Capacity to build strong and effective working relationships.
- Ambitious, pro-active and naturally curious with a desire to discuss and share ideas.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to present, justify and provide written rationales for your work.
- Commercial awareness is essential.
- The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve.
