Job description
Net Communications is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our Projects and Implementation team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and interpreting data to help drive business decisions, operations and strategy. You will work closely with key stakeholders utilising your expertise in data analysis, statistical modelling, and visualisation to uncover insights that will guide strategic initiatives and support the growth of our company.
Essential Duties:
- Perform data analysis, including data quality, data cleansing, data cleansing and validation, data cleansing and optimization, data transformation, and data visualization.
- Develop and maintain data management systems.
- Support the development of new and existing business processes.
- Ensure that all data management systems are compliant with current industry standards.
- Perform system audits to identify system vulnerabilities.
- Support the development of new and existing business processes.
- Provide support to other internal departments as needed.
- Support the development of new and existing business processes by analyzing current operations and analyzing customer requirements to determine best practices for integration into the organization’s business process.

Required Skills:
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to solve complex problems in a timely manner.
- Experience in Microsoft application
- Strong Microsoft, SQL and Basic python/java Skills
- Ability to update, improve and maintain monthly and weekly reports
- Comprehension and understanding of databases
- A degree or similar in Computer Science or mathematics (2:2 Minimum)
- A high degree of self-motivation and initiative and excellent attention to detail
