In this Junior Data Analyst job, you will be joining an innovative data visualisation platform, which visualises complicated ideas, concepts, or structures. Humans learn and work best through visual means and this product enables them to see rather than simply read or try to analyse complicated information. For example, the platform can build attractive structure diagrams representing M&A, financing, tax, trust or other complex transactions.
Their customers include law firms, accounting firms, and a host of other large financial institutions. They have grown year on year and have over doubled in size in the past year.
Job Description – Junior Data Analyst
The Junior Data Analyst sits within the product team and will be responsible for ensuring the establishment and embedding of a data driven approach to decision making. As the company grows massively, they will need data analysis to formulate strategy.
You will also be involved with the importing, analysis and visualisation of data to improve process efficiency. So an excellent knowledge of excel is essential.
Key responsibilities – Junior Data Analyst
The key responsibilities in this Junior Data Analyst opportunity in London are:
- Working with the product team to formulate a data driven approach to growth
- Creating dashboards
- Data integration
- Regular (weekly/monthly/quarterly) reporting
- Strategy planning
- Questioning existing data and reviewing it
- A degree from university, ideally in a STEM or analytical subject
- Strong numeracy skills
- Ability to use excel to a high level is essential
- Commercial experience working an analyst capacity
- A starting salary of £24,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
