We’re looking for a talented Junior Creative Designer with an outstanding eye for design, a passion for creativity and a proven ability to use the Adobe Creative suite to join our super friendly and loving team here at Beauty and the Boutique.
Who are we?
We’re an online beauty e-commerce store and social media company, founded in 2010 by Katie, a professional makeup artist and stylist. Our goal is to help our community of over 2 million women worldwide feel happier and more confident with their beauty and style.
As well as empowering people, we also give back with our company proceeds by planting a tree with every order and supporting many global charities that are helping people, animals and the world around us.

Responsibilities and Duties
· Develop creative content for our social media channels, website, and email marketing platforms.
· Use the Adobe Creative suite to create graphics, video, photography, and more!
· Monitor trends and developments in beauty and style, using this knowledge to conceptualise & create content for articles, advertisements, social media posts and videos.
· Write engaging and action-driving copy for articles, social media captions, adverts, and headlines.
· Work under the guidance of our Midweight and Senior Creative Team to deliver stunning, innovative, and engaging designs.
· Create new assets using our brand guidelines that elevate and add more value to our content.
· Take responsibility for your work, prioritise tasks, adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines. Explain the rationale behind your design and how you got there.
Skills and requirments…
· A portfolio and/or examples of your creative work
· Some relevant creative design experience and/or a creative design degree
· Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite
· Ideally, some video editing experience and a passion to learn more!
· A good understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
· An interest in beauty and cosmetics
· Excellent layout skills and understanding of file types.
· Able to present an engaging portfolio that showcases a wide mix of projects, with interesting rationales behind each project.
· Self-motivated, positive attitude and clear communication skills, a willingness to learn new skills.
Desirable:
· An animal lover! We have 4 small and cute resident dogs here at HQ.
· Due to the location of the office, a car for travelling to and from work would be preferable.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £20,500.00-£23,000.00 per year
