Job description
The role will involve collating and uploading content created by our editorial team and making suitable for a digital/web format.
Duties will include:
- editing images
- writing meta descriptions
- creating appealing looking digital content
- maximise SEO effectiveness and working closely with our design and writing teams.
You will be mainly using programmes such as photoshop and working on a wordpress based website.
There will also be the opportunity to work on social media to share the content created for the website. This would include, Facebook, Instagram Twitter etc.
As we are a small team there will be other jobs that arise as part of the broader goals of the business.

- The candidate must have a keen interest in marketing and have good communication and customer service skills
Personal qualities
For our Junior Digital Content Manager role, we are looking for someone who is highly organised, has a great eye for detail, who is hardworking and enjoys working on computers.
Desired qualifications
- English and maths A-C/9-4 or equivalent
Future prospects
We aim to offer full time employment to apprentices once their qualification is finalised. This is because they will already have an insight into how the company is run and will have proved themselves in a work setting.
Training to be provided
- TheLightBulb will deliver the Level 3 Junior Content Producer Apprenticeship Standard
- This will include remote workshops via Zoom
- To include 20% off the job training.
- In-house training to support specifics of the role
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £4.81-£9.50 per hour
