Entry Level – Commercial Pricing Analyst

TMS Global specialise in the outsourcing of retail display, print and packaging and are active in 97 markets globally. Our TMS family consists of just over 300 people who are spread internationally across APAC, LATAM, EMEA and NA.
About the Role
As our Entry level Commercial Pricing Analyst, you will be joining our already established Data and Analytics team of 6 within our operations department. You will be responsible for supporting the commercial analysis of TMS Catalogue Pricing and contractual commercial agreements from our new business pipelines and new business wins when working on the due diligence processes.
You will report into our Commercial Manager in an internally and externally customer facing role and you will also be working closely with our Sourcing and Commercial Finance teams providing pricing and commercial analysis. You will be responsible for the building of benchmarking models to support commercial contract agreements and you will develop and deliver analytical excel based models and assessments to TMS Request for Proposals using our already established best practice.
This is a permanent role, based out of our Manchester Headquarters (with a flexible working policy). This is a fantastic time to be joining TMS Global as we continue to expand globally, where you will get to work on some exciting projects with our international teams and be able to support our new business wins which will help us grow even further!
Within this entry level role, you can expect to have a number of opportunities for self-development and progression within the industry. In terms of skills that you can expect to develop, you will gain Data Gathering and Analysis skills, become an expert in Excel and be a Power BI super user, MIS training, POS/BPO industry knowledge and senior business partner communication skills.
About You
This role could be a great fit for you if you have strong mathematical skills, are an Analytical thinker and you’re keen to pursue and develop a career in Data and Analytics. A degree or work experience (e.g. Year in industry) in a relevant field would be an advantage but we’d also be keen to speak to you if you have a natural flair for data and Analytics but may not have pursued it at a degree level!
To qualify for the role, some skills that would be either essential or helpful:
- An Analytical and logical thinker.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel – formally or pursued through self-driven learning.
- Strong Mathematical skills
- A degree in a relevant subject would be an advantage but not essential if you can demonstrate your keen interest in Data and Analytics through self-driven learning.
