Junior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine Bournemouth, England
Job description
There are 15 ED Consultants, Registrars and Middle Grades, SHO grade Drs, ACPs and ANPs.
The post holder will join the Emergency Department team and work on a rolling rota which includes day, evening and night shifts and there will always be a 24 hour Senior Doctor presence.
TheMain Junior Rotaincludes 24 junior doctors and theIntermediate Junior Rotaincludes 9 junior doctors plus 3 ACPs.
TheIntermediate Junior Doctor Rotawill include an additional 8 h timetabledEducational Development Time(EDT) every 2 weeks.
EDT can be used for clinical duties (eg 9-17 shift, covering missing WPBAs or ELSE in the morning) or non-clinical activities (such as teaching, audit, QIP etc).
Each post holder will have an Educational Supervisor and be provided with career advice as well as a study leave budget.
Both posts come with a £600 study leave budget, on top of this the department will pay for one of the following courses: ALS, ATLS or APLS
