About the Role
As a Junior Project Manager you will deliver an efficient and effective project management service to our internal and external customers. These projects can be Assessment for Development, Assessment for Selection or Leadership Development programmes. You will work closely with the Consulting team, organising and managing the delivery of consulting projects from inception to conclusion. You will also work closely with our clients, providing advice and support to ensure quality delivery standards.

This role would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, and can thrive when required to take on multiple tasks and priorities. Experience in a client-facing role is essential, with evidence of liaising between relevant parties to ensure projects are delivered effectively. Being highly organised and efficient in working style is an advantage, as well as demonstrating proactivity and initiative.
Role Responsibilities
The role will include, but not necessarily be limited to…
- Project management to ensure effective delivery of consulting projects, including day-to-day client liaison, organising and leading project meetings/calls and ensuring the projects are within scope and budget.
- Co-ordinating project resources
- Maintaining project information for financial forecasting, invoicing and income recognition
- Working closely with key stakeholders across all functions of the business
- Managing changes to the project scope, plan and costs
- Identifying and managing any risks to project delivery
- Providing reports on project progress as required
- Ensuring project review meetings are conducted and learning points are shared across the team.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements
- Project Management experience (PRINCE2 or equivalent is desirable, but not essential)
- Knowledge and understanding of assessment centres
- Experience with Office365 including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint
- Confident communicator verbally and written
- Methodical and organised with strong attention to detail
- Flexible approach to tasks; able to prioritise and adapt when needed, remaining calm when under pressure
- Proactive and self-motivated working style
