This exciting new independent studio based in the Southeast of England are a growing team of highly experienced and talented developers focused on creating exceptional and innovative projects for Console and PC platforms. They are currently working with a prestigious AAA publisher in the early stages of an exciting new project and are looking to expand their team to accommodate this growth. Coordinating with the animation, environment, character and technical teams, you will manage the functional assembly of cutscenes. You'll play a crucial role in how stories are told in the studios games by applying post-processes, creating and editing cameras and lighting shots.
Responsibilities:
- Build cutscenes in Unreal Engine Sequencer with assets provided from other teams.
- Create and edit cameras for game cinematics.
- Use baked and real-time lighting techniques to light shots.
- Apply appropriate post-processing when needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
- A strong portfolio of camera and lighting work for film, TV and/or games.
- In-depth understanding of lighting composition.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years experience as a camera operator/creator, cinematographer, or editor in either real world of digital productions.
- In-depth understanding and practical experience in cinematography.
- Expert knowledge of physical cameras, lenses (focal length, aperture, focus etc)
