Your role

We’re looking for a highly driven, analytical, forward-thinking individual to join our London COO distribution team to support, implement, and help manage risks to EMEA Distribution.

The responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Drive and implement the sales and client strategy within Franchise Sales
  • Responsible for managing day to day BAU activities: business analytics, problem solving, trouble shooting, issue management, communication, etc. with the EMEA Sales management team and sales force
  • Serve as liaison between lines of business and various support partners, driving accountability across all internal functions
  • Enhancement of the sales and client management processes and Mgmt Info
  • Working with Technology to drive the improvement of front to back systems and MI
  • Support preparation of presentations for Senior Management

Your team

The COO distribution team is a highly strategic and cross-functional team that is responsible for the formulation, implementation and support of the key Distribution focused initiatives, and processes that impact our client’s experience. This is a diverse role, initially spanning across Franchise Sales but with the opportunity to expand into Execution Sales as well as Digital Platforms. The team cover elements of strategy, analytics, budgeting, performance monitoring, regulatory impact, F2B controls, market structure issues, tech implementation/digitization, and comprehensive understanding of the sales and client business. Members of the team will have broad exposure across the Global Markets business often collaborating and partnering with sales teams, management, support teams, and controls to execute a wide array of initiatives.

Your expertise

  • ideally 1-3 years relevant industry experience (Sales, Business Management, COO, and/or consulting experience)
  • analytical & capable of presenting & interpreting information to support decision making
  • ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data effectively for delivery to management
  • strong communication with the ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • willing to challenge themselves and the norm, to drive out inefficiencies in the system
  • consensus building and partnership approach with a high degree of collaboration across COO team globally (Comfortable working and networking across diverse businesses and personalities)
  • places team over self, self-starter, takes initiative, ability to work autonomously at times
  • manage multiple priorities, and ensure completion of deliverables in timely fashion
  • General understanding of bank/financial services operational processes and product knowledge
