Overview of function:
Reporting directly to the Director of IT Strategy & Communications, the Junior Business Change Analyst will be part of L.E.K.’s Global IT Strategy team and provide support to the consulting business in adopting technology change and becoming more operationally efficient.
This role will act as a driver for change (i.e. identifying change opportunities, proposing solutions and supporting the business in their implementation) across L.E.K.’s Global IT team.
Key Responsibilities
Change Programs
- Working closely with and providing support to members of the Global IT Strategy team on change projects, including planning and execution
- Conducting research, analysis and interpretation of technology and operational issues within the L.E.K. environment
- Interacting with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand problems and needs, and document requirements with the relevant Product Owners
- Work with the business to identify opportunities for improvement in business operations and processes, and proactively proposing solutions to business problems
- Support project testing in readiness for project delivery and provide delivery support as a subject matter expert (including, training and user communications)
- Preparing project materials (e.g. governance documentation, meeting materials, user documentation, training and communications) and maintaining project documentation
- Be able to support basic User Acceptance Testing to create system documentation and user manuals
- Setting up meetings, creating and updating project documentation, drafting reports, carrying out testing of software, systems and processes, capturing and reporting back test results
Communications
- Responsible for obtaining information from Product Owners (or other relevant stakeholders) to draft user communications
- Editing and reviewing communications drafted by other areas of the Global IT Teams (e.g. Service Desk)
- Create and schedule email marketing campaigns to users via Staffbase
- Organising and posting communications e.g. blogs, training materials to the Global IT content site
- Editing user instructional videos via Camtasia, including coordinating and developing video material through established videographers (as needed)
- Monitor and track communication metrics via Staffbase and user training attendance
Governance Support
- Meeting management including, setting agendas, gathering and writing presentation materials, chairing meetings, capturing decisions and writing up notes
- Creation and maintenance of task lists, following up on agreed actions
- Manage workload to ensure delivery to agreed business timetable / project targets
- Report on an agreed regular basis on issues and progress status
Your key accountabilities will include such other duties and tasks as allocated to you at the discretion of management.
Required Skills, Behaviors and Qualifications

- Strong experience within Business Analysis, including process analysis, mapping and design, and experience working on strategic change and transformation projects
- Experience of working with end users to develop detailed business requirements
- Experience providing training and running user workshops
- Experience of projects relating to system rollouts/upgrades and enhancements
- Experience of working with IT to ensure system changes are as per the user requirements
- Excellent Project Management skills, including knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Advanced skills in MS Office Excel and PowerPoint
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Industrial and Systems Engineering, Psychology, Communications/Marketing or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst (or related role), preferably within the professional services industry (e.g. legal, consulting, accounting), with solid references and credentials
Recommended Skills, Behaviors and Qualifications:
- Prior experience with email marketing platforms and video editing software would be preferred
- Additional certifications or accreditations in project management, business analysis, ITIL would be preferred
- Fluency in other languages is desirable
- Skills in marketing and customer relationship management are desirable
- Skills in project portfolio prioritisation, approvals, funding, planning, execution, reporting and benefits tracking are desirable
