This is a newly created role within a Leading independent distributor of TV programming and formats due to considerable growth in the last couple of years.
Through partnering with UK & International producers, this business is renowned, on a global scale, for delivering high quality, ground breaking shows across multiple genres.
This junior/entry level Business Analyst position has been created to support the Product Landscape of enterprise systems that facilitate the smooth running of their growing content distribution & licencing business.
This is a cross functional role that will liaise with all departments, supporting digital transformation projects, system improvements whilst also monitoring core functionality. This is following a period of continued growth, both organically and through acquisition.
This would suit a recent graduate who is looking for a role in which you can grow. Ideally you will have some relevant experience with large volumes of data, strong excel skills and be highly tech minded. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enjoy building good working relationships and highly organised, enabling you to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to learn about all areas of Media/TV distribution whilst also being involved in some interesting and varied transformation projects whilst working with some market leading systems.
Responsibilities of the role include:
· Support the implementation of new systems and integration projects to help the business achieve their digital transformation goals
· Triage requests from multiple stakeholders for new feature requirements and manage all system requirements in the product backlog
· Produce reports through the use of high end data analysis and modelling tools to help improve key processes
· Manage a variety of key business datasets, undertake data gap analysis, troubleshoot and merge data across multiple systems, ensuring data integrity
· Work with the business to explore new solutions, incorporating risks, benefits & impacts
· Liaise with the business and multiple stakeholders to provide continued updates of progress on various digital initiatives
· Run training and user engagement sessions to ensure uptake and usage of new tech & digital strategies
· Support with administration requirements of the day to day core systems management whilst managing the daily tasks of on-going systems projects
Ideal candidate requirements:
- Ideally educated to degree calibre within a relevant subject or professional qualification
- Experience of managing & analysing large data sets
- Ideally experience of system data management and preparing business reports
- Highly organised and able to successfully oversee and manage multiple projects
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of people
- Advanced Excel: pivot tables, v-lookups, able manage large sets of data
- Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines
- Strong team player
- A genuine interest in TV & Film
- Highly motivated, logical approach, ‘can-do’ attitude
- Great attention to detail
