Junior Business Analyst
Here at the West Brom we are currently recruiting a Junior Business Analyst to join our growing team. As a Junior Business Analyst here at the West Brom you will help to support our core services by learning the following skills initially via observing and working alongside your senior colleagues:
- Project Scope & Goal Refinement - Refining the scope and goals of a project in order to develop a shared understanding across all stakeholders.
- Requirements Definition - Eliciting, analysing, validating and documenting requirements for business and IT change initiatives.
- Solution Verification - Evaluating the proposed solution to assess the degree of fit in which it satisfies the business needs.
- Business Acceptance Testing Support - Supporting business users in the testing of business and IT changes to ensure acceptability.
- Business Change Deployment - Supporting the deployment of business and IT changes to ensure a smooth transition.
The skills and experience required are:
The ability to communicate effectively is a key feature of this role. In particular, the jobholder will be required to interact with and provide written and verbal updates/information to:- Management and staff throughout the Society,
- Technical and non-technical staff.
- Third party organisations providing an IT service to WBBS.
- Experience of solving problems through effective and proactive collaboration with others.
- Apply an enquiring mind set to understand the drivers for change and able to get to the root cause of the problems to be addressed.
- Experience of working in an environment with changing processes and procedures and able to understand the steps needed to enable successful implementation and adoption of the changes being made.
- Computer literate, numerate and a strong attention to detail.
- Highly motivated with the ability to drive own personal development.
- Must be willing to work towards business analysis accreditation.
