Your new team
This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.
The Reward & People Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE) is responsible for the design and delivery of all people-driven expertise enabling harmonised and competitive employment terms and conditions across the three London-based teams. The team also focuses on providing an extended employee HR system experience by introducing harmonised administrative processes, aiming at simplifying everyone’s daily experience as an employee of Pernod Ricard in London.
The Junior Business Analyst helps to support the 3 UK-based affiliates to forecast and manage personnel-related spend. It ensures that personnel data is accurate and uses this to produce regular analysis and reporting.
Your unique contribution
You will have 3 main areas of responsibility:
Headcount/FTE Planning: To support the payroll & benefits and headcount/FTE planning process for the 3 UK-based affiliates, ensuring it takes place in a timely manner in line with Group requirements. You will also help to identify and recommend improvements to the budgeting processes, policies and tools. You will also support the finance teams in strategic processes, such as budgeting, forecasting, providing accurate data and analysing and scenario-modelling all aspects of compensation and benefits.
Financial Transactions: Monitor payroll & benefits reinvoicing process involving the UK based affiliates. This would include recharges and expat/Lions accruals etc.
Headcount-Related Reporting: Supporting with regular and ad hoc headcount-related reporting (including Group Social Reporting) and KPIs for the UK-based affiliates, which includes engaging with auditors if required.

Internally, your main stakeholders will be within HR (HR Business Partners, HRIS Specialist, HR Directors, Admin & Payroll team) and your Finance colleagues.
Your blend of talent
This position could be right for you if you:

Have proven experience and the ability to assist in budgeting with experience within an international company.

Are proficient in Excel and confident in using pivot tables, vlookups, sumif etc.

Have a high level of attention to detail as this role can be technical as well as analytical. You will be able to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail, being flexible and collaborating well with others.
