The Role
Reporting to the Head of I.T., you will act as a bridge in understanding how complex business objectives can be achieved, and ensuring they’re technically delivered. This will involve liaising with and challenging stakeholders to achieve understanding and agreement.
Main Duties
The business analyst will take responsibility for the delivery of projects of varying size and complexity. You’ll oversee the full lifecycle of data use, collection and analysis. You’ll be required to develop an excellent working relationship with key stakeholders and demonstrate a drive to deliver quality through producing key project documentation. This will include documenting business requirements and development specification documents. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator with exceptional attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
- Work with product owners, stakeholders and subject-matter experts (both internal and external) to understand commercial goals and drivers and create a shared vision for meeting the business need.
- Gather and analyse data requirements, and break down complex problems into coherent features, products and projects.
- Work closely with developers, Testers and user-interface/experience designers to ensure that user stories are complete, clear, concise and comprehensible.
- Communicate and explain ideas, issues, problems and progress to the team, the stakeholders and the wider organisation at an appropriate level of business or technical detail.
- Identify pain-points, unearth their root causes and help to deliver effective solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and kick off projects with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Manage day-to-day relationships and work of third-party data providers.
- Work closely with the Developers and Head of I.T. to ensure all projects are in line with KUKD.com (UK) Ltd standards, technical strategies and processes.
- Act as the data subject-matter expert within the team.
- Ensure members of the team have the reports and data required to fulfil their roles. Enable them to self-serve for day-to-day reporting.
- Provide guidance and ad hoc training of team members so they can effectively use the data available to them.
- Highlight additional reporting needs. Work with the business intelligence team to deliver any changes to existing reports, or delivery of new reporting requirements.
- Identify ways in which data can be used more effectively to support the development of the group objectives and products.
Required skills and experience:
- Broad and demonstrable experience of working successfully with teams to deliver data-driven development.
- Exceptional communication skills. Be able to clearly articulate concepts and ideas to the widest possible audience.
- Be able to effectively communicate business requirements to technical teams.
- Be able to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical teams.
- Demonstrate outstanding analytical ability as well as grasp of the big picture.
- Experience prioritising competing demands, resolving conflict and win approval from stakeholders.
- Ability to take responsibility for shaping and delivering projects.
- Comfortable working with and promoting a range of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Able to use your drive, creativity and initiative to move the organisation forward.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to understand the business strategy and how the team deliver in line with this strategy.
- Experience of leading projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders (internal and external) across all skills and levels of an organisation.
- Understanding of budgeting.
- An awareness of data-security practices and regulation.
Schedule:
0900-1700, Monday to Friday, 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
- Subject to attendance and holiday bonus upon successful completion of probation.
- Work from Home options available after successful completion of probation.

Salary: £20,320.00-£25,000.00 per year
