Junior Business Analyst - Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Tanfield, Co. Durham (Home of Penn State pretzels)
Flexible/Hybrid working (mostly home/remote working with team meetings at site a couple of times per month and occasional International travel)
As our Junior Business Analyst, you'll ensure the PLM software solution meets the strategic and process needs of the business with specific focus, but not exclusively, on Recipe Management; Materials Specifications; Quality; Product to Market processes.
As Junior Business Analyst, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure delivery of PLM Support Requests are managed in an efficient and timely way and in accordance with the Group Support Procedure
- Ensure delivery of PLM Change Requests are managed in an efficient and timely way and in accordance with the Group Change Control Procedure
- Provide First and Second Line technical support to completion
- Work with 3rd Party outsourced application support where required and ensure their time is used cost effectively and according to their SLA
- Manage own KPIs and contribute to the CoE overall KPI reporting
- Maintain all relevant PLM documentation to keep pace with system changes
- Maintain user capability in our strategic applications
- Assess call trends and develop sustain and improvement opportunities with the CoE Team
- Become an accepted partner to the business and key stakeholders as a key representative of the PLM Centre of Excellence
What you'll have authority on:
- Making proposals when to technically upgrade / change specific applications or enhance them
- Prioritising business requirements
- Sign-off testing of Application changes
- Upholding of IT security profiles

Key knowledge, skills & experience:
- Experience of PLM Information Systems (essential)
- Understanding and experience of working with FMCG Processes (essential)
- Project Management experience (desirable)
- Strong written and verbal English
- Good Excel Skills
- Ability to produce business and technical specifications
- FMCG Technical function knowledge / experience
- Good PC and IT literacy
