Junior Business Analyst:
You will work as part of the Product team, managing a stream of work that will support the business with simple change requests to optimise business processes, resolve known issues and enhance the product offering.
As part of this role, you will be required to work with all levels of business stakeholders, eliciting requirements and documenting these in user stories for the development team to work on. You will also act as a product owner to support the development team through the Agile project life cycle.
You will work closely with seniors in the team who will support you and consult on solution design and prioritisation but will be responsible for the output.
The role will involve:
· Agile working. Acting as a product owner and utilising agile tools to manage requirements and support the development team. Advising colleagues on how and why agile methods are used and be able to provide a clear, open and transparent framework in which teams can deliver. You can adapt and reflect and be resilient. You have the ability to see outside of the process. Additionally, you have an awareness or understanding of user experience analysis and its principles. You can see the purpose of user stories and focus on user needs.
· Requirements definition and management. You’ll utilise various tools and techniques for determining requirements, focussing on business objectives and value-led delivery. You’ll manage the requirements and organise these into a product backlog with support from seniors.
· Stakeholder relationship management. You know who your stakeholders are, what evidence is relevant to them and the importance of managing relationships with them.
· Business analysis. You will investigate operational needs or problems and assist in the recommendation of service improvement and business solutions. You will contribute to recommendations to improve services and understand the importance of evidence-based design or analysis.
· Business improvement process. You will identify service and process improvement opportunities with guidance. You will contribute to the implementation of proposed solutions with the support of senior members of the delivery team.
· Business modelling. You will model simple areas using established techniques and understand the purpose of this and its importance. You will assist in complex modelling if required.
· Business process testing. You will support business process testing and assist with the management of the testing and roll out plan. You will establish acceptance criteria for business sign off.

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
