Introduction
The client has offices in: Manchester, Plymouth, Hampshire, Bristol, Cheltenham, Birmingham or London.
Our client is a leading consultancy looking for Junior Consultants who want to develop and grow their career! A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Defence environment is required.
My client is looking for Consultants with experience to work in the following domains:
- Defence and Security
- Policing
- Rail/Transport
- Utilities/Energy
The successful candidate will be ‘Solutions’ focused and work with clients and technical teams, to develop technical solutions to complex problems. Experience within Digital transformation would be beneficial.
This role will be embedded within the client and therefore you must have excellent customer facing experience.
You will be expected to work on client site 2 – 3 days per week, but the rest can be done remotely.
Key responsibilities
- You will have responsibility for the analysis of processes, systems and operations, using appropriate tools and techniques to identify improvements and/or efficiencies in fulfilment of client objectives
- This will include extensive client engagement including facilitating workshops to gather inputs to your analysis and to share emerging ideas or conclusions
- Support agile delivery in roles such as agile business analyst or proxy product owner or scrum master to rapidly iterate effective solutions
Skills & experience
- The experience in or to potential to deliver across: client interaction, technical delivery, practice and service development and business development
- You will have experience of agile and waterfall delivery and may understand the Business Analyst role in a DevOps environment
- Able to build trusted and lasting relationships with clients at all levels in a business environment
- Your experience may include strategy development, research, analysis, organisational development, culture change, IT-enabled change, business process analysis, change impact assessment, coaching and/or mentoring; training development and delivery
- You demonstrate a high level of problem-solving ability and can present complex concepts effectively by making simple persuasive points based on your analysis
- You have demonstrable experience of using business analysis techniques, these may include process mapping, workshops, creating ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ documentation.
