All About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, the purpose of this role is to support the delivery of a programme of work to replace the current ERP system for the Barrett Steel Group. This role would be ideally suited to someone who actively participates in projects and is looking to pursue a career as a Business Analyst. The role can be hybrid, working on site in Bradford once or twice a week or based full time on site should you refer.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, to actively progress the project
- Provide administrative support for the project
- Analyse and review design documents in-line with business requirements
- Document test scenarios
- Conduct unit testing
- Actively identify risks, issues, dependencies, escalating upwards to ensure appropriate risk mitigation (as appropriate)
- Occasional travel to other sites will be required

- Personable and approachable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and logical approach
- Experience gained in a similar role with strong planning and organisation skills
- Exposure to a project environment
- Willingness to learn
- Experience of ERP systems - Epicor would be ideal, however training will be given
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be a bonus
- Strong communication skills and ability to present information to key stakeholders both verbally and via email
- Team player with a positive and can-do attitude
- A driving license
