Job Introduction
MailMetroMedia is seeking a Junior Assistant to join our growing team to help us create compelling shopping-focused content including longer lead reviews, features and videos.
Do you have an interest in the affiliate and commerce industry? Do you want to work with and learn from a vibrant and rapidly growing team?
The Junior Assistant will assist in all aspects of the team's growth and success, whilst being exposed to all aspects of the team's business, including: articles published on MailOnline and Metro.co.uk, social video, syndication to other sites and platforms, newsletters, affiliate networks and clients
Main Responsibilities
- Scouring the internet to find the best deals for our readers
- Assist Head of Commerce in analysis and reporting
- Assist in all logistics e.g. arranging products for testing
- Produce internal and external presentations
- Liaise with other websites within our wider group e.g. on affiliate linking opportunities
- Responsible for all internal booking and procurement procedures
- Work with the Commerce Editor and Affiliates Manager to ensure we are securing the best deals in market
Person Specification
- An interest in working in the affiliate/commerce industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organised and with an attention to detail
- Computer literate, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
