The team sits in the Commercial business area, reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer. The individual would work as part of the wider (and highly diverse) marketing team whose goal is to enhance brand awareness across key channels and drive opportunities for the commercial team. The channel team develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns addressing key client needs across the UK, US, Canada and Australia channels to support the commercial objectives. The team coordinate relevant marketing assets across the marketing mix such as website pages, thought leadership, surveys, videos. They amplify them using social media, paid media, event presence and email. This role provides an excellent introduction to investment management and the financial services industry and a chance to gain insight into how an investment management firm operates. It is an opportunity to build strong commercial, operational, risk management and regulatory knowledge, and to develop effective analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide junior analyst support to the team ensuring that all allocated work and incoming issues are dealt with without risk to the company, in an efficient manner, and to the satisfaction of all internal and external clients.
Examples of team responsibilities the successful candidate is likely to be involved in are:
Channel campaigns
Collaborate with the wider marketing team to deliver integrated marketing campaigns across the marketing mix, using systems such as Salesforce and Pardot when required
Project and event management: coordinate deliverables for third-party conferences and assist with the project management of hosted events
Work with third-party media partners to promote Newton content
Partner with our branded merchandise companies to create branded materials for use at events.
Write tailored email communications to different segments
Conduct research on key competitors to assist with the development of ideas for campaigns
Digital/Reporting
Create tracking links and use dashboards via Google Analytics
Monitor campaign performance and create reports on marketing activity
Budgeting
Develop and maintain budgets for specific marketing activity and manage invoice processing
Use the procurement process for vendor management
Other general responsibilities will include:
Collaboration with other team/department members to support a continuous process improvement approach, and to contribute to key business strategic projects and initiatives. Maintenance of effective team checklists and procedure documents.
Internal Junior Analyst -Marketing Campaigns & Projects
Administration of meetings e.g., manage team diaries, prepare meeting packs, produce meeting notes and minutes. Attendance at meetings (internal and external) on behalf of the team when required. Support the team to maintain effective relationships with other Newton and BNY Mellon areas.
Input into audit and control processes (external audits, regulatory audits, internal audits and compliance monitoring) on behalf of the team and other business areas, as required.
Production of Management Information data, reports and analysis on behalf of the team.
Oversight of any team task that is being performed by a vendor (Outsourced Function Provider, Third Party Service Provider or Inter-Affiliate service), including undertaking the task during business continuity events or tests
