Job description - Junior Analyst
In this Junior Analyst job in London, you will be working for the 2 Senior Portfolio Managers, with a cross-asset mandate (Equity, FX and Commodities), involving complex derivative instruments. The role will be to support the team on infrastructure, pricing, modelling and trading. Long term, the goal is to train the successful candidate from the ground up into a Portfolio Manager for the strategy.

Key responsibilities - Junior Analyst
In this Junior Analyst role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing analytic models around pricing, modelling, and trading
  • Foster and grow strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Support the team to maintain and build the internal infrastructure, utilising Python skills and knowledge in derivatives
  • Monitor and manage risk exposures when they arise

Job requirements - Junior Analyst
  • A strong academic background in Mathematics or Engineering, ideally post-graduate educated
  • A quantitative, data-driven, detail-oriented approach to solving complex problems
  • A real desire to learn about financial markets, with a specific interest in Macro investing
  • Experience knowledge of derivatives and models
  • Strong Python essential
