Junior Accounts Assistant – Cardiff (Hybrid) – Up to £23,000 with Excellent Benefits and Bonus

About you…
Ideally, you’ll have built up some experience in a similar role but we’re quite open for what that looks like.

It would be great if you were AAT qualified or equivalent (though we can support you with this if not), and ideally, we’re looking for someone who has -
* Good problem-solving skills
* Experience in accounting systems
* Experience with Business Central
* Purchase ledger experience

What you’ll be doing…
You will be working hands-on with a growing company, the main purpose of the role will be to assist the Finance team with day-to-day transactions and to ensure the delivery of an efficient service to the organisation.

Working closely with the wider Finance Team, the Junior Accounts Assistant will play a significant role in all things Finance at Ogi. This means the responsibilities will be quite varied, but not be limited to:
* Delivering an efficient and timely accounts payable process including management of inbox and reconciliation of ledger
* Daily bank reconciliations
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Completion of month-end procedures
* Supporting VAT returns
* Supporting preparation of other HMRC returns as applicable
