Job description
We are looking for an Accountant or accounts assitant to join the team. You will need to be Qualified or part qualified with the following qualification: CIMA, ACCA, ACA. This is a fast-paced role, managing the accounts for a growing company so previous experience working in a similar role is must.
Duties
- Preparing monthly journals
- Liaise with other areas of the business and take responsibility for collation of personal tax information when the client is a multi-discipline service client
- Assisting in annual audit process
- Preparing monthly reporting packs and various balance sheet and expense accounts
- Oversee the preparation of monthly project costing, recharges and comparison to budget with variance analysis
- Preparing weekly cashflows for subsidiaries
- VAT and intrastate reporting
- Compiling budget information from UK and European subsidiaries and creating local and regional budgets
- Ensuring compliance with financial internal controls and policies are maintained
- Identifying and driving process improvements
- All-round Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
- Carry out Month End procedures
- Processing transactions in to accounting ledger including accruals and prepayments.
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

Salary: £24,734.43-£38,230.04 per year
