Job description

Junior Web Developer

Work with a team of developers on Web applications within the collaboration solutions portfolio. Communicate clearly to learn new technologies. Contribute ideas to the team for consideration. Work with common, modern front-end tech stacks, including Git, NPM, Gulp, ReactJS, jQuery, and SASS.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with Web applications
• Experience of project management preferred
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
• Work with HTML5/CSS skills, hand-coding of web sites - Strong understanding of server-side technologies specifically PHP and MySQL
• Design database schema as per the requirements
• Take part in requirements gathering and documenting the solution
• Use Java Script, both vanilla JS and frameworks such as jQuery, Angular JS, ReactJS
• Create new CMS and manage existing CMS built using wordpress or other content management systems
• Develop Code using object-oriented PHP
• Knowledge of designing software like CAD, CREO is advantageous
• Understanding of modern best practices on the web, including responsive design, UX and accessibility
• Good motivation and time-management, being able to maintain communication across several projects running in parallel
• Good team player, approachable and willing to share ideas & knowledge with team
