Junior Graphic Designer / Artworker
The CEO Media Group is one of the UK’s fastest-growing independently owned media businesses. We are active in the fields of media and specialising in global business publications, company brochures, digital publishing, and related activities.
Business Focus Magazine is our flagship monthly printed and digital product providing readers with a wealth of articles discussing business strategy, expert opinion, analysis, corporate case studies, emerging trends, leadership, growth opportunities, and challenges facing business leaders.
An entry-level office job demanding strong graphic design (PC-based) skills for a fast-growing company in the centre of Norwich.
A key requirement for this role is the ability to work independently and unsupervised as well as part of a team. You will work supporting the production team, with tasks varying on the current need.
Strong graphics skills using Adobe Creative Suite are required, as well as good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications. In-house training will be provided for proprietary software the company uses.
Day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to:
·Designing for web: banners and images for website and social media, contribute to the company’s social media channels with ideas and graphics for content, digital magazine and brochures, under the supervision of the main designer,
·Designing for print: a monthly magazine, magazine ads, brochures, under the supervision of the main designer,
·Email marketing: designing marketing emails,
· Working and supporting the production team,
·Website and Twitter updates,
·General office tasks, including administrative tasks as required,
·Perform other related duties as and when required.
The successful applicant:
·Experienced in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign essential, with examples of previous work.
·Experienced in Microsoft Office Package, including Word and Excel,
·Experience in WordPress would be advantageous, but not essential,
·Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload whilst working to tight print deadlines,
·A strong attention to detail,
· Excellent planning and organisational skills coupled with self-motivation to meet deadlines under short notice and a changing brief.
