Job description
Our client is a reputable specialist interior fit-out and joinery company. They offer a complete turnkey fit-out services across a broad range of sectors.
They now have an exciting opportunity for a Joinery Site Supervisor to join their team on a live 5 star hotel project based in Central London.
This is a permanent position and the successful applicant would be required to start ASAP.
Working as part of the site based project team, successful candidates will be responsible for the organisation and supervision of directly employed operatives and sub-contractors on site. Applicants must have the ability to achieve the necessary production outputs with due regard for quality finishes and health and safety issues.
Main Duties will Include:
- Site Construction programmes – ensuring timelines/targets are adhered too.
- Direct supervision of operatives ensuring works are carried out in a safe, compliant, effective, and efficient manner.
- Monitor site operatives’ performance.
- Understanding of Site Health & Safety and adherence
- Planning to ensure resource is available for the workload.
- Proactively work with colleagues to ensure the site and workload is running smoothly.
- Manage onsite deliveries.
- Managing team schedules and site attendance.
- Assisting with planning.
- To be successful as a Site Supervisor, you should be detail-oriented and knowledgeable of building codes and construction safety regulations, demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ideally candidates will have a joinery background and site supervisory experience on high quality interior fit out projects and be a CSCS Card holder.
