An opportunity has become available for two experienced Joiners to become part of C~urb Property's Reactive and Voids Maintenance Team. These posts will be based in Falkirk, one post will require travel throughout East Scotland, and the other post will require travel throughout West Scotland.
The Joiner will provide a high quality and efficient service, carrying out all aspects of joinery work in properties owned or managed by Link Group or within service agreements to other organisations. As part of a multi-skilled team, the Joiner will be responsible for carrying out reactive and void repairs. All undertakings will be in line with statutory requirements, regulatory and technical standards, customer expectations and organisational procedures. You will also be required to take part in our on call rota.
We are looking for applications from qualified, time served joiners who demonstrate high professional standards, especially in respect of quality and customer service.
These posts are based in Falkirk however there will be a requirement to work throughout Link's areas of operation, therefore a driving licence is essential.
Access to a van, power tools, mobile phone, uniform and PPE are provided.
About You
As an experienced Joiner, you will have proven experience in a similar joinery role and an NVQ/City & Guilds in Joinery or equivalent. You will have a competent knowledge of joinery manufactured components and knowledge of other core trades associated with joinery installations.
This role requires a commitment to excellent customer care and knowledge and awareness of health and safety requirements and how both impact on method of work and customer needs. Knowledge of a variety of traditional and non-traditional construction methods, materials and installations is essential for this role.
This role requires a current full UK driving licence.
