We are looking to appoint three suitably qualified and experienced individuals to undertake the role of Joiner within our Property Services team. There are 2 roles available within our Responsive Repairs team and 1 vacancy within our Empty Homes team.


About the role


We have a number of vacancies within our Property Services teams. These roles have become available due to our continued growth in the North-East and as part of our on-going commitment to provide as many good quality homes as we can; to deliver excellent service to our customers; and to shape strong, sustainable places for our communities.


About you


We are looking for a multi-skilled Joiner to join the team to assist Karbon Homes in delivering an excellent repairs and voids service that promotes a culture of customer first and continuous improvement.


You should have completed a recognised joinery trade apprenticeship or have equivalent relevant experience and possess all the skills necessary to deliver all aspects of joinery works to a high standard in occupied and void, domestic and non-domestic, premises ranging from minor repairs to the installation of major components.


You should hold relevant qualifications (refer to person specification) and also have experience and practical knowledge of carrying out multi-skilled works in other trades such as Plumbing, Plastering and Tiling works.


Customer service skills are essential for this role as is an excellent knowledge of health and safety.


A full UK driving licence is essential.

There are vacancies within both our Responsive Repairs and Empty Homes Teams. Applications are welcomed from across the North-East.   • Joiner(s) – permanent role
  • Salary is £27,298 per annum (pending pay award)
  • Location: Throughout the North East
  • 37 Hours per week - Working pattern is Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-3.30pm
  • The successful applicant will be required to cover out of hours standby, which attracts a standby payment
  • The successful applicant may be required to work throughout the Northeast
  • Company van provided
