Who we are
Coach ID is an App directed to football coaches and their technical staff to make modern day coaching more efficient and effective. Our App helps football coaches and others in individual and team planning, tactical work, exercise building, game analysis and other core functions that make success on the pitch that much more possible.
About the role
We are looking for a UI/UX Design Intern to help us upgrade our current software into an even more powerful platform for Clubs, Coaches and Players in football.
As an intern, you will be part of a diverse and interdisciplinary team, all operating in the football space at different capacities and levels and all ready to help you develop your knowledge and understanding of the football world. Coach ID is embarking on a journey to grow to the next level, taking it further internationally and creating a global community of coaches.
You will principally be working with the Head of Strategy to support their work with responsibilities that can include but not be limited to the following:
· Gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with colleagues and third party collaborators
· Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
· Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
· Building page navigation buttons and search fields
· Developing UI mock-ups and prototypes
· Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
· Preparing and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
· Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
· Conducting layout adjustments based on user feedback
· Adhering to style standards on fonts, colours and images
Tasks can also include but not be limited to collecting and reviewing current data on other technology companies in the same space while also supplementing this information with other data relevant to meet your objectives.
Requirements and skills
· Some work experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role
· Portfolio of design projects (can also include during studies)
· Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
· Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
· Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
· Good time-management skills
Additional information
The internship will be between 4-8 weeks and may be aligned with an academic semester or depending upon your availability, can begin immediately. There is also the possibility of a paid role at the end of the internship period with consideration to intern aspirations to join the team and the company’s growth.
