Global investment bank is seeking an Agile Java Developer to join a business-critical technology team.

As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the bank's database of Origination deals and developing software that minimizes risk and litigation resulting from conflicts of interest. This responsibility is vital for the bank's "license to operate."

In this role, you will be responsible for full-stack development with a Java server and TypeScript/React front end.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing robust and well-tested software, with a focus on code simplicity.
• Collaborating with the business and other stakeholders to define requirements.
• Working full-stack, with an emphasis on server-side development.
• Managing the Continuous Integration/Delivery pipeline and the production environment through DevOps practices.
• Engaging in pair programming to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Skills and experience:

• Strong Java development skills.
• Desirable, but not essential: Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/ReactJS, especially if you are open to learning.
• Proficiency in driving Object-Oriented design using Test-Driven Development.
• Experience applying agile development practices, including automated testing and pair programming, to deliver exceptional and robust software.
• Vision and expertise to incrementally enhance the application's design, making it more flexible and resilient.
