As a Barclays Java Developer, you will have an opportunity to be working within Prime Services, supporting, and helping to integrate data. In this role you will be accountable for ensuring that there is sufficient assistance for our business analysts allowing real time decisions to be made. You will also be leading the regulatory control and overall business decisions.

What will you be doing?
- Defining the next generation of the RODS real-time data ingestion, distribution and reporting infrastructure
- Performing current system enhancement, support, and upgrade
- Performing exploratory and targeted system and data analysis using commercial and open-source big data packages
- Applying multivariate statistical methods and machine learning techniques for finding structure and value in both large and small data sets
- Leveraging multivariate statistical methods and machine learning techniques to identify key process input variables
- Developing predictive/classification intelligent models for system and business support
What we’re looking for:
- Core Java experience
- Java Spring Boot Experience
- Angular /Web Development Experience
- Hibernate Experience
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Cloud Deployment Experience
- Experience with the Unix /Linux operating system + shell scripting
- Experience with Windows Server Programming, batch scripting
- Experience with Autosys job scheduling
