Location: NW10 7NZ
Rate of Pay: £10.50
Working hours: Minimum 20 hours, 9:30am-5pm, Weekdays (subject to change).
Job Purpose:
In this position, you will be responsible for the fulfilment of our online shop orders, as a key member in our japancentre.com operations team. This includes picking / packing / double-checking orders, loading and moving pallets, re-shelving of products on our picking aisles and keeping your workspace clean, tidy and organised
Our online orders include Japanese groceries, fragile products, chilled, frozen and fresh goods, which must be packed with care.
A proactive attitude to work and ability to work well in a team is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick and Pack orders including chilled and frozen
- Check orders against pick sheets
- Replenish products on shelves
- Complete stocktaking activities on a periodic basis
- Manual Handling - lifting, bending, stretching and carrying
- Collect stock from the store room
- Allocating stock to shelves
Person spec:
- Japanese language- reading (desirable)
- Able to lift up to 30kg
- Enthusiastic, can do attitude
- Someone with great initiative
- Previous experience is an advantage
- knowledge of Japanese products
A two hour trial is required before employment is considered.
