Searching for candidates to assist with work being performed for our client, Rio Tinto.
Project – Pot Line Industrial Cleaning
Initial scope – Monday to Friday 10 hours per day, Option for Saturday work if required
Logistics – Local preferred; ability to have fly-in and out as necessary
Scope - Crews to be setup for industrial cleaning of roof structures, piping, wall and structural steel beams using vacuum systems and hand tools
- Working from Elevated work platform with ground support operation diesel vacuum unit
- Loading and handling of super sack bags with vacuumed material; staged to laydown for removal from site
Responsibilities:
- General labour and operator duties
- Load, unload and transport construction materials using forklift/telehandler
- Ariel work platform (AWP) operators; experience is an asset
- Experience with small tools and manual handling while working at heights
- Site and work area housekeeping
- Complete daily paperwork and participate in toolbox talks
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program.
- Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.
Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in industrial construction
- Must be a team player.
- Committed to working in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills required
- Good analytical ability and manual dexterity.
Complete orientation and specific training will be provide to successful candidate.
