We are searching for a hardworking, kind and respectful person to join our friendly, supportive team here at Romney House care home.

Do you have a keen eye for detail and experience of working with vulnerable people within strict infection control environment? A passion for cleaning is the only essential quality we are seeking, the rest can be trained!

This position is part time where our 20 residents are supported by a great team of staff.

The role

To ensure that the home is kept clean and tidy for our residents to enjoy. You will have to be able to stock take and order cleaning supplies for the home. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within all areas of the home which includes cleaning surfaces, handrails, toilets, bathrooms, emptying bins and cleaning floors and communal areas as well as using a sanitising rooms and weekly deep cleaning.

You will be expected to adhere to our Infection Control Policy, follow instruction in ensuring our residents rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, and work safely within company policies, seeking advice and guidance when necessary.
