CLEANER – Velvet Coaster - South Shore, Blackpool

Temporary Contract

3-5 days a week (Monday-Sunday)

5am - 8 am

Starting Hourly Rate: 18 + over: £10.72 an hour

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS – please only apply if you have all of the following:

• Proof of Right to Work in the UK – you will need to bring this to your interview
• Have a UK bank account in your own name;
• Have a fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable travelling distance of the pub.

Job Objective

To clean all areas of the pub thoroughly, with the key aim of enhancing the customer experience by having excellent standards of pub cleanliness

Main duties and responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring the highest consistent standards of Cleanliness are achieved on their shift
• Complete daily cleaning tasks to a high standard as instructed by the manager
• Complete more thorough weekly and monthly cleaning tasks to a high standard as instructed by the manager
• Adhere to all aspects of food hygiene, health and safety and Company policy
• Ensure that the bar, front of house, back of house and toilets are cleaned in accordance with Company guidelines
• Report all maintenance issues to the Duty Manager
• Maintain a high level of attendance and time keeping in line with their rota
• Attend monthly staff meetings, where appropriate
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing appropriate in house training
• Carry out any reasonable instruction given by any member of the Pub Management team or any Wethercentre Manager
