About the Role
If you’re looking to work in a fast paced environment, developing and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, then this could be the perfect role for you. We are looking for two professional Cleaners (one male and one female) to work at the YMCA Club, in central London.
The main duties include:
- Clean all areas of the club thoroughly, with the key aim of enhancing the customer experience by having excellent standards of cleanliness.
- Clean the changing rooms ensuring that there is adequate stock at all times.
- Assist the Duty Manager in recognising cleaning needs and making recommendations as required.
- Use electrical and power equipment such as floor polishing machines.
- Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have previous Cleaner experience in a busy customer faced environment. You will also;
- Have a good knowledge of cleaning methods and use of cleaning chemicals.
- Be an excellent team player.
- Have basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Be able to communicate in English with customers and colleagues in person and over the radio.
- Be able to work set shifts at weekends.
