This is the ideal role for an ambitiousIT Tech looking to join a company with equally big ambitions and have the opportunity to work together alongside a range of major international organisations across industry backgrounds.
You will gain a wealth of experience and exposure in several areas of the business from our in-housetechnical team, field services as well as on-site event technology installations and support. This is an exciting role withthe opportunity to develop your technical skills as well as gain invaluableon-site exposure at some of the largest events on the planet playing an important role as the on-site event technology provider.
Day to day duties would include but are not limited to:assisting in preparation of IT technology solutions and devices such as Tablets, PCs, VR, AV, networking equipment for all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans, as well as attending events both in the UK and abroad.
Your duties will include:
· Imagelaptops and PCs with Apple configurator, iOS and OSX devices. Provisioning, testing and configuration
· Deploy and administer IT systems in the assigned region, including end-user desktops/laptops, computing servers, network equipment, voice and video hardware and mobile devices.
· Execute software installation and deployment to computing systems
· Maintain conditionofsoftware and hardware of IT equipment including VR headsets, routers,and printers.
· Ensure project deliverables are to the highest standard as per our clients’ expectations and requirements
· Analyse risks and opportunities, proactively assessing potential issues before they arise
· Provide remotesupport to users when required
· Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
· Promote health and safety and ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
· Several event staff assignments, providing event technology support on site.
· Travel domestically and international to support event Technology.
Requirements:
· Previous work experience as IT Assistant or Technician preferred
· Previous work experience at events or a similar client facing role preferred
· UK Driving license preferred but not essential
· Ability to work flexible hours as per event schedule covering all days and hours
· Must have a genuine interest in technology with a willingness to learn
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management
· IT background is a plus
· Adaptable and calm under pressure
· Problem solving
