Key responsibilities include:
- Provide comprehensive IT support via our helpdesk system whether via email, telephone or in person, advising end users on all aspects of IT desktop issues.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues while offering solutions.
- Ensure issues are resolved in an efficient and timely manner in line with performance targets and service level agreements, keeping users informed and updated of progress.
- Work with third party suppliers to resolve issues relating to both hardware and software.
- Management of project work and development of IT initiatives.
- Network and server maintenance, administration and monitoring.
- Installation of both PC, Server and Network hardware and software.
About You
You will be passionate about technology with the drive to learn new skills while keeping focused when under pressure.
You will need a good overall knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace packages and server products ranging from installation to use.
You’ll also need to be highly organised and be comfortable in liaising with various stakeholders from across the business.
You may have achieved an IT related qualification and already be working within an IT support role and looking for your next step in gaining broader experience.
What Willerby can offer you
While this is a full-time role, the condensed working hours in line with our production schedules mean that you can start your weekend early with a shorter working day on Fridays.
You can expect a competitive starting salary, 25 days annual leave in addition to public holiday, life assurance and a 6% employer contribution pension.
You’ll also get the option to join a Private Health Scheme and be eligible to be included in a discretionary bonus scheme.
As a valued employee, you’ll also be entitled to a host of other free benefits available to you and family members throughout the year, from tickets to theme parks and the theatre to drive-in cinema experiences.
