IT Technician
Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the position of IT Technician at Kimberley Alpine Resort. This is a full-time year-round position, reporting to the Area Manager. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, a team player. and will have previous IT experience. Job Description Role Summary
The IT Technician will support the operation of Kimberley Alpine Resort, Trickle Creek Lodge, Trickle Creek Golf, and all departments and outlets within the resorts to service their computer, network, telephone, and any other IT-related needs.
Key Responsibilities
Systems / hardware support for all departments
Maintain RCR's IT policies and procedures to ensure company projects are met
Maintain equipment fleet including: inventory control, maintenance, repairs, and disposal
Consultation and collaboration with other RCR IT departments
Communication and collaboration with all departments to ensure IT needs are met
Qualifications
IT-related education, certification, degree, or experience
Assets include: experience with Windows servers, WAN/LAN and WiFi systems, Active Directory, networking, VOIP, MS 365 / Exchange / Teams, PC hardware and repair.
Must have knowledge and understanding of firewalls, network security, backups, monitoring, and physical security
Previous IT-related work experience is preferred
Must be skier or snowboarder to reach various parts of the resort
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Conditions:
working holidays, weekends and evenings can be expected
full-time availability required during busy times throughout winter
